Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 1 Cup Porcini
  • 1 Cup Champignons

Instructions

  • Clean the mushrooms you want to dry using a paper towel to remove all the dirt. Cut out any impurities.
  • Using a sharp knife, slice your mushrooms into half a millimeter or quarter-inch slices and lay them on dehydrator trays. Arrange the mushroom slices in a single layer for best drying.
  • Place all the filled trays on top of each other and close the lid. Switch your machine to 70 degrees celsius or 160 Fahrenheit. Dry for 6 to 8 hours, making sure you sap the trays from time to time. Swapping trays will ensure all of your mushrooms get evenly dried.

Notes

  • Cleaning - cleaning the mushrooms with a kitchen towel instead of washing them is best.
  • Swap - keep swapping the trays in your dehydrator to ensure uniform drying.
