Crock Pot Honey Garlic Meatballs

These crock pot honey garlic meatballs cook slowly in a sticky, sweet, and savory sauce with almost no hands-on work. Frozen cooked meatballs make the prep simple, and they are ready to serve straight from the crock pot with toothpicks.

Ingredients

  • 32 Ounces Cooked Frozen Meatballs bag
  • 2 Cups Ketchup
  • Cups Brown Sugar packed
  • ½ Cup Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic minced

Instructions

  • Measure the sauce ingredients and place the frozen meatballs in the crock pot without thawing.
  • Whisk the ketchup, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, and garlic until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir gently until every piece is evenly coated.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for about 2 hours, stirring once during cooking.

Notes

  • Add chili flakes or a splash of hot sauce directly to the sauce before pouring if you want background heat without changing the overall sweet-and-savory balance.
  • Reducing the brown sugar slightly makes the sauce less sweet without losing the honey garlic flavor, which is worth trying if you prefer a more savory result.
  • Toothpicks make these easy to serve as a stand-alone appetizer, while a ladle of extra sauce over rice turns the same batch into a simple meal.
  • If you don't have a slow cooker, combine everything in a pot on the stovetop and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally so the sauce doesn't stick to the bottom.
