Instructions

  • Pat the pork chops dry so the seasoning sticks, and preheat the air fryer to 380°Fahrenheit (190°Celsius) to ensure even cooking and a crisp exterior.
  • Stir together the oil, sweetener, sage, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and fully combined.
  • Rub the mixture over both sides of the pork chops and let them rest for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavor.
  • Place the chops in a single layer and cook 5 minutes per side until they reach 145°Fahrenheit (63°Celsius), then rest 3–5 minutes so they stay juicy.

Notes

  • Make sure the air fryer is preheated before adding the pork chops. This helps them cook evenly and get a nice golden crust.
  • Pat the pork chops dry before adding olive oil and seasoning. For the flavor, you can adjust to your liking; paprika or onion powder are good options.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket; place the pork chops with space between them. Give each chop space so the hot air can circulate and make them crispy on all sides.
  • Check the internal temperature; use a meat thermometer. Depending on the size of your meat, it can take longer to cook.
  • You can also use boneless pork chop, depending on availability.
