How To Make Pork Scotch Fillet Steak

Here, I will show you the whole process of making a perfectly cooked pork scotch fillet. By following these easy steps, you can make a quick homemade pork dish like my cream cheese sausage ball.

  • Sharp Knife: Use it to cut and prepare the whole loaf of pork tenderloin.
  • Cooking Pan or Skillet: Use a durable cooking pan or skillet to sear the pork.
  • Meat Hammer: Pounder or meat hammer pat and tenderize the pork.
  • Wooden Spatula: This is better than metal spatulas for easy flipping without scratching the cooking pan.

Ingredients:

  • Onions: Use fresh yellow onions for a sweeter flavor in this recipe.
  • Pork Tenderloin: This is an excellent choice because it is a tender cut of pork. If needed, you can substitute it with a scotch fillet.
  • Indian Spices: I am using my homemade Indian spices for the best flavor profile.
  • Turmeric: A bit of turmeric can make the pork taste better and more juicy.
  • Dry Ginger Powder: I use ginger powder as it mixes easily with other spices and ingredients.

FULL INSTRUCTIONS WITH STEPS FOR COOKING PORK SCOTCH FILLET SLICES

First Step: Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients, including the pork, fresh onions, herbs, and spices needed for the marinade.

Second Step: Prepare to Marinade

Cut the pork into even chops and gently beat with the meat hammer to tenderize it to even thinner slices. Set aside and start making the marinade mix by combining all the seasonings and olive oil. Marinade the pork overnight for the best flavor.

Once ready for cooking, prepare your marinated pork and slice your onions.
