Make Cauliflower Rice As A Side Dish

Aside from the classic side dishes like pickled daikon, gluten-free fried onions, or baked cabbage steaks, cauliflower rice is a perfect side dish for almost any meal because it is light and goes well with all kinds of main dishes like pork chops, air fried chicken, or cream cheese sausage ball. After your meal, you can mix it with other veggies for more flavor and color without feeling too heavy.

Ways To Cook The Cauliflower Rice

There are a few simple ways to cook cauliflower rice, each with a different texture. You can steam it to keep it soft and fluffy or stir-fry it for a bit of a bite. If you want a crispy texture, bake it in the oven. Try these methods to see which one you like best for different dishes.

How To Make Rice Cauliflower Recipes

Making cauliflower rice is simple and doesn’t take much time. I will show you a few seconds tips instead of using a box grater.  For recipes, you’ll need a few basic ingredients, a large skillet or a baking tray and a couple of steps, and you’re set. I’ll break it down below so you can follow along easily and make it in no time.

Kitchen Gadgets:

  • Blender: Perfect for pulsing cauliflower into rice-sized bits. A blender works great if you do not have a food processor.
  • Cooking Pot: Use a cooking pot to cook rice and cauliflower recipes.
  • Baking Pan: Great for baking cauliflower rice with a crispier texture.

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower: Fresh cauliflower is best for this dish. Look for a firm, white head of cauliflower with no soft spots.
